Introduzzione from Weiss' Dresden MS
Sonata XX in A Major - This entire Sonata
is also arranged in Drop D Tuning. This is a one page
sample of the piece, which happens to be 6 pages long! The entire
Sonata is 26 pages of music. All of the pieces contained within
the sonata are absolutely gorgeous and fun to play. (originally dated
050608...this is updated as of 01/06).
Courante from Weiss' Dresden MS
Sonata XX in A Major - The courante from this Sonata is
another gorgeous piece of music. As I was editing it, I decided
that I would add another sample from this entire Sonata giving all of
you the first page from this piece. It is also 6 pages and just
comes off the guitar exquisitely. There are some IV, VI and IX
Barre positions but they are wholly appropriate and play quite easily
once you become accustomed to them. (originally dated 050611...this is
updated as of 01/06)
