Renato's team of luthiers are really coming into their own.

After-market work allowed the sound of the guitar to match the beauty of the instrument itself.

Without a doubt, this is an exceptional classical guitar, one that needs to be seen and played to be fully appreciated.

Comments

This guitar has all the bells and whistles from Renato's luthier group.  Sound port, arm rest, radius neck, mosaic bindings in the front,  top sound woods and excellent workmanship.

My luthier went in to this guitar looking for the voice he and I both knew were there.  Shaving braces slowly and surely, the guitar started popping and tapping the way we knew it would.  Once satisfied, we strung her up and were blown away by the results.  She's as good a sounding and projecting guitar as you are going to want.

There are a few blemishes that are in no way structurally important.  There are 2 marks on the bass side of the neck by the 2nd fret.  There is a white finish dot on the back side of the neck down by the heel.  There is another mark in the same area.  These are finish issues.  A string ding is apparent by the B string.  I'm installing a mini-golpeadores behind the bridge, exactly as I install on our Adalid and Esteve 9C/Bs.

See pics 13 and 14 where I attempt to photograph the blemishes.

Sound Files Samantha's Lullaby - I really go after the guitar in this piece and she takes it big time.  Really nice.  uploaded August 19, 2008 - for those interested in the score...Click Here

No noise reduction, no filters, nothing except a reverb add...took me 10 minutes to record and upload...sweet!  :-)
