| Intonation |
Perfectly setup by Lubos |
| Sound |
Clean separation with astounding
clarity. She evidences bold, round and wet trebles. Very
loud. |
| Projection |
Extremely powerful with high, lilting
and piercing trebles and basses that leave pretty much nothing to be
desired. Due to the lattice bracing and/or the Koa, a favorite
of mine for guitars, this guitar is simply explosive to the ear
while maintaining responsiveness to the touch. |

| Comments |
Lubos is, simply put, a
fantastic builder of guitars. The guitar is much like the other I
have listed, where it is fast, responsive, loud
and projects like a monster. His workmanship is meticulous,
showing the time and the pride that he puts into his guitars.
On further play by myself and my good friend Steve Schram, we both found
the guitar to be very loud to the audience. I mean LOUD.
Yet, she has an incredibly sweet voice, apparently a staple of Lubos'
guitars, able to manage a wide array of color and palette, from high and
bright to soft and sweet.
She plays like a dream, is perfectly intonated, and is quite the pretty
guitar. It is clear that he goes above and beyond to tap the
guitar into a beautiful voice as well as work it to a gorgeous
presentation.
From Lubos himself: This guitar has great basses and incredibly
loud trebles. Last winter, I made six guitars with lattice bracing
and it's proven to possess a well balanced sound with volume, sustain
and projection. Although I only make solid wood guitars, you might
feel like you are playing a Double Top Guitar. All of my tops are
1.7 to 2.4 mm, depending on the stiffness of the Spruce or Cedar
Soundboard. |
