Comments

This guitar was brought to my attention by a gentleman, the original owner of the guitar, who asked me to sell it for him, due to hand issues, needing a smaller scale guitar.  I was intrigued, where it is rightly so.  The guitar is splendid.  Hauser-ish as one would expect, it is a worthy consideration for the Hauser style of build and sound that one may be looking for in a concert guitar.  The woods are as old school as it gets, straight cut, German Spruce and straight grained Brazilian Rosewood. Beautiful woods, workmanship, just a beautiful guitar.

Action is accessible, play is solid, fast and soulful.  Musical expression at your fingertips.  The armrest is bloody comfortable, as well.  At the moment, she is strung up with Savarez Cantiga Normal Tension.  I might like to hear high tension on the guitar, but we shall see.  The action deviation is because of the standard canting of the quite straight neck, again, in the Hauser fashion, where the fingerboard is planed to a canted angle to allow for string clearance instead of a relief process in the actual neck.  4.1mm to 2.75mm is quite the deviation, but it works and quite well at that.

Condition is at the least, very good.  Given almost 30 years of age, one might say excellent, with a modicum of honest play wear, some slight finish rubbing, where the back and sides are excellent.  Photos will tell you everything that we can see.  I will shoot quadrant shots for your convenience.

Media

Listening with high quality headphones or audio equipment is highly recommended including EQ manipulation, if possible. We record everything flat with just a touch of Reverb to relieve dryness. My goal is to record the guitar as realistically as possible. I speak in the recordings, my thoughts about the guitar (and possibly other things?).  My speaking also serves to give you my first impressions and to also give you a balance of the engineering (or lack thereof) versus the sound of the guitar.  I simply do not have time to engineer much of anything.  Thanks. Rich
