Comments:
The owner took superb care of her. This is clearly a superior classical guitar. Internal inspection reveals a Standard Bracing Pattern, which is beautifully done in the hands of the American Master. Guitar is graded at about a 90-95% in terms of condition. I see a few small ticks around the rosette, and one towards the butt of the guitar on the soundboard. Tough to see except by turning into the light. All honest play wear, nothing egregious. There is a string ding behind the high E string. There is also some marking in the upper treble bout. Photos taken but still difficult to see, which means from a foot away or more, they are not visible.
The guitar is surprisingly powerful, explosive, big in her sound, crystal in the highs, a pleasure to hold and play. Her action is low and accessible, making her fast. Almost flamenco-ish at 3.0mm and 2.25mm low to high E. I had a tough time putting it down, having a blast with this guitar.

Media
Listening with high quality headphones or audio equipment is highly recommended including EQ manipulation, if possible. We record everything flat with just a touch of Reverb to relieve dryness. My goal is to record the guitar as realistically as is possible. I speak in the recordings, my thoughts about the guitar (and possibly other things?). My speaking also serves to give you my first impressions and to also give you a balance of the engineering (or lack thereof) versus the sound of the guitar. I simply do not have time to engineer much of anything. Thanks. Rich
Handcrafted instruments are photographed and listed individually, usually identified by a serial number, date and or some other combination.
MP3 Audio – Coming Soon! – the guitar is a lot of fun to play. Warm, clear, colorful and expressive with power. Nice!
