Comments
It is magnificent.
An amazing guitar. Old World sound, old world tradition, embodied within a truly special and most beautiful guitar. She is a concert guitar in every aspect of the phrase. Her sound is already ancient, she sounds and looks as if she has been around quite a while already, which is obviously explained by the aging process of the family and their guitars. This is a player’s guitar. A performer’s guitar. Studio ready, you could not ask for a more beautiful and truly exceptional guitar than this example.
Condition is 95% plus as displayed by the almost sheer lack of playing wear. I can identify a few very small, I mean tiny swirls on the treble side of the rosette. Nothing on the bass side. The EIRW back has some typical swirling from original French Polishing, but none of these things can be seen from a foot away, and quite frankly, I had to turn the guitar into the light with glasses and close inspection to find them.
Serious inquiries only. By appointment. Thank you in advance for your understanding

I prefer to sell this guitar domestically, within US Borders.
I discourage International buyers, unless you are willing to come here yourself and take delivery personally. CITES paperwork is NOT necessary for this guitar given its construction with East Indian Rosewood. Rich

Listening with high quality headphones or audio equipment is highly recommended including EQ manipulation, if possible. We record everything flat with just a touch of Reverb to relieve dryness. My goal is to record the guitar as realistically as possible. I speak in the recordings, my thoughts about the guitar (and possibly other things?). My speaking also serves to give you my first impressions and to also give you a balance of the engineering (or lack thereof) versus the sound of the guitar. I simply do not have time to engineer much of anything. Thanks. Rich
Playing her this afternoon, in preparation for recording, I can tell you that she is all bells in the trebles, set up incredibly well, with smooth basses that blend beautifully with the overall voice. She is a Hauser thru and thru, with clear even voices. The highs are almost distracting they are so tinsel-like in their resonance. An absolutely gorgeous guitar in every possible way. I knew she was superb within 2 seconds of holding and playing her
MP3 Audio – 220118-2000 Hermann Hauser III 477 Spruce EIRW – The guitar is truly refined. There is little to add. The guitar is old school in every way.
My Solo Book of sheet music is available here if you’re interested.

Please note that as a Global Statement for my site, for Tuning machines, Accessories, and most guitars, that Shipping is NOT Free any longer. Costs have gone up dramatically. Regardless of what or where you might read on the site, shipping is not free any longer. Choose the least expensive method, if available, or Expedited if you want them quicker. My apologies. Rich
Please DO NOT Choose USPS Media Mail to ship a guitar or a Hard Shell Case – this shipping method is designed for Media, Books, CDS, DVDs, etc.
