This guitar came to me with some rather extensive play wear, but wholly honest wear. Such a wonderful guitar needed to be addressed, so I did the work. Some nail marks were rather deep, but the refinishing and French Polish work came out wonderfully. Back and sides buffed out beautifully. I am happy with the work, which the guitar deserved. She is a worthy instrument.
Slight setup on the guitar, and yes ma’am, we have a player, concert worthy, which I have to admit, is ridiculously easy to play. Do not allow the action numbers to throw you. She really is simple to play.
Greg has always built a superior guitar, but this may be a truly great guitar.
Please note this is a 640mm scale length guitar, with slightly smaller string spacing and nut width. On playing her for the recording, it occurred to me that this may be a wonderful transition instrument for a steel string player looking at the classical guitar world, simply for the scale length and the string spacing. I always provide measurements (above) where possible.
The result is a guitar with extraordinary responsiveness, volume, and color.

Media
Listening with high quality headphones or audio equipment is highly recommended including EQ manipulation, if possible. We record everything flat with just a touch of Reverb to relieve dryness. My goal is to record the guitar as realistically as possible. I speak in the recordings, my thoughts about the guitar (and possibly other things?). My speaking also serves to give you my first impressions and to also give you a balance of the engineering (or lack thereof) versus the sound of the guitar.
