Richard always builds an exceptional classical guitar using the best materials and all of his experience.  Powerful, sweet, easily played, his guitars are highly prized.   She is gorgeous.  The top is a superb example of Western Red Cedar, the back and sides with exceptional Madagascar Rosewood, straight grained, beautiful coloring.  Note that the guitar is a Traditional 7 Fan Braced guitar.  She sounds amazing.

The guitar plays fast and easy with sublime voicing, excellent separation, clear lines in her singing.  She also wants to be driven, seriously releasing some bold yet warm power.  Clarity is exceptional, almost surprisingly so, until you remember that Richard built it.  He likes sweet power, with exceptional clarity, even with his cedar guitar.

Condition of the guitar is almost excellent.  There are 2 vertical line nail marks by the bridge, towards the rosette.  A little nail ding here and there, but nothing of note, difficult to photograph.  There exists a tiny bit of wear on the beautiful back upper bout area and a ring dent in the neck (small) by the 2-3rd fret.  All spoken in the spirit of full disclosure.

MP3 Audio –  Coming Soon! – I have played this guitar, and lost an hour of my life to her.  This is an unbelievable guitar.  Pow bang and zoom, in your face.   Responsive, no break in her, and I went after her.  Superb traditional build by the California master.
