2019 Fritz Mueller #324 Spruce CSA

This magnificent example by Fritz exceeds expectations.  There are a few things to discuss regarding this incredible guitar.

The guitar has an access panel in the back butt of the guitar.  This allows for easy access to the whole interior.  Part of the reason for this access is the 3 Tornavoz that come with the guitar.  From small to large, (I’ll be using the large one), they are magnetic, thus attaching with ease.  The access panel is also magnetic, pushed out with a small wooden rod or dowel, if you will, (comes with the guitar) via the top bout sound port.  There is also a way to minimize the sound port, if so desired, with a sliding panel within the guitar (see photos, where I slid it across about halfway).  You don’t want to do that.  LOL

The tuning machines are by Jorg Graf, the 7th set of 10, using a Bird & Roses motif, with a self-locking mechanism and adjustment if you wish.  Very unique and quite beautiful.  These machines by Graf are also quite expensive adding $2500 to the overall value.

The top is from old stock German Spruce (Double Top with Nomex) as is the Brazilian Rosewood (CSA RW standing for Central South American Rosewood).  All very difficult to acquire and quite expensive choices.

There is a slight beveling to the lower bout, where your arm would rest, making her naturally comfortable.

Aside from all of the visual prettiness, the guitar is finished with a fine Visesnut HSC in Canary Yellow, which adds another $900 -$1000 to the cost of the guitar.

The guitar itself is wildly resonant and wholly musical.  Workmanship is stellar.  Tuned to F# in the main body and G# toward the butt of the guitar.  This allows for a super clean voicing along any and all playing lines.

The room was filled with the sound of the guitar and her play is totally accessible, almost effortless.  Fritz is a true master, building power, with music, grace and elegance.

The price has been severely lowered, as the buyer is motivated.  Offers will not be considered.  The price of the guitar is as stated in the listing.  Thank you.

Please note that this guitar is NOT eligible for International Shipping.  You are welcome to personally come to the gallery to pick the guitar up.  Otherwise, the guitar should be sold domestically within the USA.  The buyer assumes all responsibility once it leaves our gallery.  Thank you kindly for your understanding.  Richard

Listening with high quality headphones or audio equipment is highly recommended including EQ manipulation, if possible. We record everything flat with just a touch of Reverb to relieve dryness. My goal is to record the guitar as realistically as is possible. I speak in the recordings, my thoughts about the guitar (and possibly other things?).  My speaking also serves to give you my first impressions and to also give you a balance of the engineering (or lack thereof) versus the sound of the guitar.  I simply do not have time to engineer much of anything.  Thanks. Rich

MP3 Audio  – 2019 Fritz Mueller 324 Spruce CSA – this recording is without the Tornavoz inserted.  In my opinion, the guitar does not need it, but when you put the Tornavoz in, get out the way.  LOL  OK, so this is no where near my best work, but it’s not about me, it’s all about the guitar, which is fabulous!  Clearly voiced as much of nothing you’ve ever heard, each string, each notes vibrates seamlessly, effortless power, grace and elegance in every note.

Please DO NOT Choose USPS Media Mail to ship a guitar or a Hard Shell Case – this shipping method is designed for Media, Books, CDS, DVDs, etc.

I have added numerous options for you to choose the cost and method, including USPS Priority and Express, as well as FedEx options (we can substitute UPS for FedEx, simply indicate your preference in the Notes window at Check Out).
