2019 Larry Breslin Cedar Brazilian RW DT
Comments:
The guitar is sublimely beautiful, as I would expect from a master such as Larry Breslin. Her voice is a bit dark, clear and quite forceful with a tinge of bells due more than likely to the gorgeous CSA that Larry chose this guitar. The Double Top is very active, quite resonant.
The rosette is handmade while the bridge has pearl inlay. There is a fret marker on the 7th fret, while the neck is extended on the treble side to the 21st fret. A very pretty guitar.
I enjoyed playing this guitar quite a bit. Larry moved from the Colorado area years ago, moving to the Palm Coast area of Florida. Him and I discussed this move, his excitement and the land he chose. I remember that he built his workshop separately from his home mostly on his own. That 5 year journey has now culminated in him sending me a truly fine instrument, with a voice and play that I can admire, one that I could play all day.
The guitar is built with an armrest and Ports, plus the CSA RW and premium Rubner machines.

Listening with high quality headphones or audio equipment is highly recommended including EQ manipulation, if possible. We record everything flat with just a touch of Reverb to relieve dryness. My goal is to record the guitar as realistically as is possible. I speak in the recordings, my thoughts about the guitar (and possibly other things?). My speaking also serves to give you my first impressions and to also give you a balance of the engineering (or lack thereof) versus the sound of the guitar. I simply do not have time to engineer much of anything. Thanks. Rich
MP3 Audio – 191204-2019 Larry Breslin Cedar Brazilian RW DT – what a great playing and musical experience. I love when a guitar blooms in your hands, growing and maturing with just the slightest bit of play. Awesome guitar.
My Solo Book of sheet music is available here if you’re interested.
