The guitar is gosh darn pretty.
Interestingly, Mario Aracama trained in the workshop of Antonio Montero Marín. Talk about an apprenticeship! Granada, the home of the lighter, vibrant and resonant, where right hand control is everything! If you know Marin, you understand perfectly. Mario has picked the minds of some of the more prominent luthiers in Granada, including Jose Vigil.
This particular guitar was pretty well taken care of as a whole. There is honest play wear in and around the rosette. A string ding behind the B string was filled, then a bridge golpe was installed, barely visible. The ding was NOT stained, unfortunately. Photos will show you of what I speak.
The play is superb. Voice, action, nuance, musicality are all there in abundance. Right hand control, as mentioned earlier, is paramount. She is a ringing monster. Beautiful.

Listening with high quality headphones or audio equipment is highly recommended including EQ manipulation, if possible. We record everything flat with just a touch of Reverb to relieve dryness. My goal is to record the guitar as realistically as is possible. I speak in the recordings, my thoughts about the guitar (and possibly other things?). My speaking also serves to give you my first impressions and to also give you a balance of the engineering (or lack thereof) versus the sound of the guitar.
