OK, so I’m not an expert on Ukeleles, by an means, but quality is quality and it is built solely by Mark Usherovich.  He brought this to me on a lark, (I believe he wanted to show off a bit LOL), and man alive, it works.  This is a superb uke, built solely of Koa, soundboard, back and sides, with EIRW purflings, bridge and headstock.  The fretboard is also Rosewood.

The Uke is very forceful, clear and piercing in her voice, with excellent projection.  Personally, I don’t know how I’m going to record it.  I do not play uke?

He bi-leveled the tuning pegs, which are friction pegs, very easy to use.   See photos.

I have yet to measure the uke, thus the blank info.  She’s so tiny, it was hysterical doing the photo shoot.  She’s so cute!

I also have to acquire a HSC suitable for the instrument.  Shipping this instrument will be a very interesting test for us.  Note: I bought a Guardian Soprano Uke HSC, so we’re good there.

A truly excellent and wonderful ukelele by the young master, we are very proud to represent this fine luthier from Waterloo, Canada.

Mark brought the guitar to me personally, on Monday February 3, 2020.  I have posted a photo here on the page.  Such a wonderful man, thoughtful, engaging and most knowledgeable in all things sound and guitar.

Listening with high quality headphones or audio equipment is highly recommended including EQ manipulation, if possible. We record everything flat with just a touch of Reverb to relieve dryness. My goal is to record the guitar as realistically as is possible. I speak in the recordings, my thoughts about the guitar (and possibly other things?).  My speaking also serves to give you my first impressions and to also give you a balance of the engineering (or lack thereof) versus the sound of the guitar.  I simply do not have time to engineer much of anything.  Thanks.
