As expected, Claudia fixated on the sound reproduction, where it can easily be heard.  The musicality and expression of this instrument is phenomenal.  The play is easy, yet able to drive.  Handmade with the simplest of tools, the small flaws in the rosette and binding actually add character to the guitar.  I wrote to her about all of this, where she said, I was so focused on the sound, I didn’t worry the little details.  Well, the mics have no eyes, and I’m ok with it.  This is a truly musical guitar.

Claudia works and lives in Rome, one of my favorite cities in the world.  It is and will continue to be a pleasure to work with this fine young luthier for many years to come.

Listening with high quality headphones or audio equipment is highly recommended including EQ manipulation, if possible. We record everything flat with just a touch of Reverb to relieve dryness. My goal is to record the guitar as realistically as is possible. I speak in the recordings, my thoughts about the guitar (and possibly other things?).  My speaking also serves to give you my first impressions and to also give you a balance of the engineering (or lack thereof) versus the sound of the guitar.  I simply do not have time to engineer much of anything.  Thanks.
