Comments:
Valerio Licari is an interesting luthier, an old world artisan, master, teacher who has done an incredible job of workmanship as well as sound and musicality. Incredible. This is a truly musical guitar from a master of luthierie originating at the heart of the Italian school, one that continues to impress guitar after guitar.
The guitar is a powerhouse of a monster. Musical and evocative, I simply had a ball playing her in Rome at the Expo I attended in March. I knew immediately he would live here in my gallery. The Zen Fingerstyle Classical sealed the deal. We went to dinner, talked, his wonderful assistants joined us, a great time.
Valerio works and lives in Turin, Italy. He has toured and studied extensively across Italy and Spain. A serious man, full of life, humble but certain of himself and his knowledge. My kind of man! It is and will continue to be a pleasure to work with this fine luthier for many years to come.

Listening with high quality headphones or audio equipment is highly recommended including EQ manipulation, if possible. We record everything flat with just a touch of Reverb to relieve dryness. My goal is to record the guitar as realistically as is possible. I speak in the recordings, my thoughts about the guitar (and possibly other things?). My speaking also serves to give you my first impressions and to also give you a balance of the engineering (or lack thereof) versus the sound of the guitar. I simply do not have time to engineer much of anything. Thanks. Rich
Please note that dust is an issue of late, especially with 5 humidifiers running within my gallery space. We do our best to wipe things down between each shot, but the dust can be pervasive as a result of the humidity issues required in this colder, dryer weather. I also run air purifiers within the space. It does not help that much. I have to say this out loud as I do not edit the photos. There is full transparency here, as always, in my discussions, photos, recordings, etc. It is never about tricking any of you. It is about absolute and full disclosure so that you know exactly what you are looking at any time you visit my gallery or my site.

Please note that as a Global Statement for my site, for Tuning machines, Accessories, and most guitars, that Shipping is NOT Free any longer. Costs have gone up dramatically. Regardless of what or where you might read on the site, shipping is not free any longer. Choose the least expensive method, if available, or Expedited if you want them quicker. My apologies. Rich
Please DO NOT Choose USPS Media Mail to ship a guitar or a Hard Shell Case – this shipping method is designed for Media, Books, CDS, DVDs, etc.
Please choose UPS 2nd Day Air or Ground Delivery or any Expedited Method. The more expensive a guitar, the more likely you should choose a 1 or 2 day method. It’s pure common sense, especially when it is too hot or too cold outside.

I have added numerous options for you to choose the cost and method, including USPS Priority and Express, as well as FedEx/UPS options (simply indicate your preference in the Notes window at Check Out). Thank you!
