Comments

Abe Wechter was an unusual and very good builder.  Unique in his traditional approach, I was pleasantly surprised by how good this guitar is, and wish I could see more of his work.  The guitar is superb, clearly well built, with the classical/jazz/bossa nova player in mind.  Approachable from every possible angle, fretted up to the heavens, jeez, this guitar is simply amazing.

The guitar is built with 19 frets to the body, bass and treble side!  Wow, she is so very cool.  I measured the action at the 15th fret, because that seemed to make sense.

Issues with the guitar?  None, except for one very unfortunate string ding behind the treble E string.  Otherwise mint.  I’m telling you, this is a very cool guitar in every way.

I’ll write more when I sit with it for an extended recording session.

Listening with high quality headphones or audio equipment is highly recommended including EQ manipulation, if possible. We record everything flat with just a touch of Reverb to relieve dryness. My goal is to record the guitar as realistically as is possible. Thanks. Rich
