Comments:

At this point, all I know is that Mikhail, or Misha to his friends, is building very few guitars of late.  When he is building, he is truly crafting that which inspires him.  From the woods used, to the design, this guitar is deep from the soul of this great Canadian Luthier.   The Spruce and the Brazilian are as Old Stock as it gets in this business.  Misha is very pleased with the work, the sound, and the play of this instrument.  I cannot wait to get my hands on her.

When she came, I was blown away.  What a pleasure.  With a silky, sublime voice, she resonates and fills the room with music immediately.  She already possesses an old world voice and she’s a baby still.  This is an amazing classical guitar by one of Canada’s greatest luthiers.  A week later and the guitar is improving, which is incredible as she was already outstanding.  I’m recording her today. Now it’s just ridiculous.  I recorded her and the audio thru the camera was almost good enough to print.  She literally pierced thru everything to make the camera audio of good enough quality that I had to think which to use, the camera or the mic sound.

MP3 Audio – current as of 11-19-2014 – 141119-mikhail-robert-anniversary-2012 – clarity and complexity that is impressive.  Round and fat while being stunningly clear in her voices.  She has a push to her projection that takes you elsewhere as you play.  This is a superb guitar.

I realized in the recording that the humidifiers were running (it got cold and dry a whole month early in these parts of NY).  Machines had to be running.  Sorry.
