Savage Classical Guitar Classical Guitar Strings
OK, so I can’t say that my strings are among the world’s best selling, because I just developed them, production is complete and they are now available to the general public.
I can tell you that the treble strings are sorted by a sophisticated computer-controlled laser machine which performs diameter/tension measurements and quality checks, insuring true sounding, precise trebles in every set. The basses are wound using silver-plated copper on a multi-filament nylon core.
I developed these strings based on normal tolerances, where the priority was to find a string that intonates properly, is consistent, with various tensions that will do the job of creating music and satisfying the need for an inexpensive string that performs much like more expensive strings.
There are zero bells and whistles here. No carbon, no diamond, no “whatever you can think of”…. plain and simple high quality nylon strings that do the job most of us need.
I find these strings one of the best regarding intonation, with a full round and wholesome tone, from the Low Tension Strings ,which are suitable for Flamenco type action, to the Hard Tension String, which has a nice response and snap back factor (as I like to call it). The higher tension strings can help with a bit of buzz in a guitar with low action.
They are available in a variety of tensions, from Low Tension to Hard Tension.
