Comments:

Just Arrived!  Beautiful focused voices, singing trebles with classic basses combining for a classical sound that belies its lattice bracing, all except for her power.  Excellent workmanship by Sergei, as expected.  The woods are superb, play is truly accessible, and her sound is everything you could want in a world class instrument.

Unusual in that the guitar is a Double Top (DT), not a typical build for Sergei, but he did a great job.  Additionally, the guitar is a 640mm scale, making it suitable for those with less than a 9″ span between thumb and pinky tips (a general rule of thumb?  LOL)

She has numerous slight fingernail marks along the rosette and treble areas, as expected by a guitar that has been played.  She suffers nothing for it, except for her price, which is reflective of her play wear.  It was difficult to photograph (I attempted to do so), but make no mistake, the play wear is there (full disclosure always!).  A string ding behind the bridge!  (so avoidable).

The fretboard is cantilevered, much like original Hausers from the 40’s forward, meaning the fretboard profile slopes away from the basses in a lateral fashion, creating natural relief.  She plays very easily as a result.

She is fitted with Gotoh 35G1800 machines accompanied by a Hiscox LiteFlite Case in Black.
