Wilson Burnham Classical Guitar 2016 Redwood EIRW

Just arrived, this guitar is another superb example of the beauty and warmth of Redwood used as a top soundboard!  Pretty, full bodied voice, easy to play.  Excellent work by the master luthier from Colorado.  Wilson’s work was intriguing and accessible price-wise to me.  Looking forward to seeing her, I was pleasantly surprised at how easily she plays, her warmth, clarity and projection.  Lovely first addition from Wilson.  More to come, that much is certain.  He’s a character too.  Look at his photo, you can see it in his eyes!  LOL  Good guy.

This guitar is from 2014 – a studio demo by Wilson, though in very clean condition.  We would accept any number over $4K for her, given the demo state of the guitar.  She is very well broken in, in excellent condition, with only minor finish issues that are impossible to see except with very close inspection.  Best and feel free to give me a ring to discuss at 631-335-5447, ask for Rich

About Wilson Burnham – “I hand craft classical guitars in a small studio outside of Allen’s Park, Colorado.

I use only hand tools and high quality woods to make my guitars. This allows me to make a guitar that has a true singing voice, one that is loud and has a large range of tonal colors and nuances.

As a classical guitar player myself, I know the joy of playing a truly wonderful guitar – one that sings, is responsive to your playing style, is easy to play with a voice that reaches the last row of seats in a recital or concert hall, and most of all, a guitar that you fall in love with so much you never want to stop playing it.

That is the kind of guitar that I make.” – Wilson Burnham

MP3 Audio – 160903-burnham-2014-redwood – I was really looking forward to this guitar, as Redwood is one of my favorite tops.  I love warmth, what can I say.  This guitar has that and more all the way.  One of my favorites was from Darren Hippner, back in the day, number 305 I think.  This guitar is very mindful of that, with easy play and an oozing warmth that makes her a lot of fun to play.  Wilson builds a very nice guitar.  I’m very happy representing him and his guitars here on the East Coast.
